Your hosts Arthur and Jackie welcome you to the Grouse Inn Glossop which is a good place to stop if passing through the area, a place to replenish your energy for the rest of the day. Pull in to the large car par and go into the pub through the porch area (go on a wet or windy day and you’ll be glad of the porch) and enter the traditional interior. The Grouse Inn has a fine selection of keg and draughr beers as well as a good wine cellar. Our staff are friendly and provide prompt service, The Grouse Inn is child friendly, indeed there’s even a safe play area for smaller children at the rear of the pub.with the animals wandering about. There are new lambs in the spring when you can come and watch them being bottle fed. , .having a cuddle with them is a wonderful experience.Also the rabbits ,ducks ,hens ,guinea fowl .make a visit to the Grouse Inn Glossop an experience to remember when you see them wandering around or even hold up the traffic as every one wants a look . Additional attractions at appropriate times include Helicopter Rides over the area and Clay Pigeon shooting in the fields nearby – but not at the same time! Also Steve Kenny the local award winning singer .who when he first played at the Grouse Inn was outside on the roof on a real cold Glossop day and announced to the landlord “If I do alright this time can I play inside next “and has been coming back very six to eight weeks ever since,( see events page or boards for when he is next here ."
